A few images that I managed not to screw up completely

I have fancied shooting at The Hacienda for some time and I am glad I finally got to do so. Sean the owner is a gracious host and extremely helpful when explaining the ins and outs of shooting there. The studio itself is stunning with so much light you can shoot at mid level iso settings comfortably. Being such an open space you have a lot of flexibility where and what you can shoot and not run out of options. Any money made by the studio is given to homeless charities which is another reason to use it. I have previously worked with Nicole so working with her again was a easy choice. We got through a lot of sets and I have just added one from each set.

The Birmingham International Festival has been taking place across the city at various venues including free performances at Victoria Square, these images were taken June 4 & 10.

Recently I shot with Laura for the second time, our first shoot being in 2007 making it the longest gap between shoots I have had. Laura quit modelling shortly after our first shoot. She then moved close to where I live and made contact via social media and we have been exchanging messages and seeing each other on the street occasionally. Looking at her posting images showed she worked hard to get back in shape after the birth of her children and with a change in lifestyle looked really good. I asked if she was interested in shooting again and the shoot was arranged. Not only my second post in a week or so, a rare non model related posting, once the weather is warmer I will be walking and shooting urban landscapes around my locale. Last August I went to a Prescott Hills Climbing event for the first time. Although not a driver I have an interest in some motor sports and love looking at vintage motors, Sports photography is not my for forte and I have never been good at it, the good thing about the day was although the weather and light was variable, the venue allowed for many vantage points and me to take some landscapes as well.
