Olga .... Five Shoots, Five Different Looks

Over the years I have worked with many make up artists, some on a regular basis maybe once or twice a year as they are very busy working on paid jobs such as weddings between April and October especially. As I was looking through an index of this years shoots I noticed I have worked with Olga Barassi four times this year and once at the end of last year which was the first time we met. The first shoot with with Shanielle Richardson from West Bromwich via Anguilla was a standard beauty shoot shot in my studio. Our second shoot was a Asian Bridal with Sonia a part time model based in Solihul I used a large softbox as the main light with a smaller beauty dish as fill in and speedlight on the background. For the third and fourth images I had Sonia lying down on red bedspread lit from above with Octabox softbox and reflectors. Guys Cliffe - Art Nude Amongst The Ruins

Guys Cliffe, near Warwick is a venue I always fancied shooting at, thinking that it was a little remote to get there, but after checking it was only a mile or so from the nearest train station I booked a spot at an event organised by Nicole Rayner which was split into half day shoots over a weekend. The building itself is a semi derelict stately home which has become a regular spot for organised photographic shoots, Nicole's was focusing on art nude with three other models who excel in the genre, Ivory Flame, Rachelle Summers and Ayla Rose. There were eight photographers initially split into pairs working with a individual model for two sessions of fifty minutes each, a shorter session of 25 minutes with the two other models you had not worked with earlier and final short group shoot with the all the models. Rather than have a free for all at the end the photographers as a group to set our own individual shots and split up the time to do so, which worked out very well in my own se...

Marla from 2015

Two quick posts, this one features images from a shoot with Marla from 2015, the first eight images were shot just with natural light and reflectors, the studio images were shot using one light, the one shot above Marla we used the train from her wedding dress ensemble as a background.

100 Metres From Junction 7

Great Barr is notorious for its traffic problems mainly on the A34 leading to junction 7 of the M6, there are also quite a few areas of green in the parks and nature reserves. Taking advantage of the wonderful summer I have been shooting around the area, eight shoots in total, below are examples of seven of them.
